OFF LOOM WEAVING

THE POETRY OF COLOR

This one day weaving class will explore the poetry of color and texture through experimenting with various materials, such as yarn, ribbon, found materials and different weaving patterns.
The objective of this workshop is to celebrate the everyday magic of the colors that fill our lives. By writing short poems to accompany the weavings we create, we will connect two different forms of expression to guide our projects, ultimately practicing gratitude and presence. The final products will be beautiful off loom weaving pieces to take home and enjoy.
