Experience photographing Nantucket’s natural beauty in the evening summer light. Whether you’re on the south shore, in the moors, or perched at Sconset Light, photo opportunities on the Island are abundant. We will meet at the NISDA campus and set out for a designated location determined by weather and instructor. Basic camera technique for landscape and seascape photography will be covered. Create images both unique to the photographer and chosen site. A meaningful way to remember our Island Sea and Landscapes!
This Nantucket Landscape based workshop is open to all age groups (ages 9+ accompanied by an adult, teens and adults) and skill levels; from absolute beginner to seasoned pro, or a family on vacation! All camera formats and/or devices welcomed. Tripod encouraged but not required.
- Meet up at the NISDA campus in Wauwinet at 5:50 pm.
- Travel together in NISDA’s school van, departing any time after 6:00 pm.
- Participants need the ability to walk for moderate stretches of time on-site.
- Dress for the weather and BYO water.
