Classes + Workshops

LONG SHED CLAY:

OPEN STUDIO COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP
Prior Experience needed.
Open to Artists over the Age of 18.


Instructor: 
Instruction is not included in the membership fee.

Days // Times:
July 1–October 15, 2025
Open Studio Hours: 
Monday + Wednesday: 8 am–4 pm

Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday + Saturday : 8 am–9 pm


Tuition:  
$100 per week
4 Week minimum. 

Additional weeks $100/wk


Members buy and use NISDA clay.
Cone 06-04 terracotta or Cone 5 white body.
Each 25 lb. bag Is $ 60, this includes glazes + firing.

Please note: If you opt for Community Open Studio in lieu of enrolling in a class – there is no instruction. You will need to be 95% independent in regards to all production techniques. This includes glazing. If you are interested, enrollment is by application. If we feel that you are able to move forward independantly you may do so.

    The Long Shed Community Clay Members are clay artists who are able to work independently and pay a fee to use the Long Shed Clay studio during Open Studio hours.  They are not enrolled in a class... but come in on their own to work. This opportunity is by application. This program is open to artists over the age of 18.


    Members need to have prior experience and will work independently. All participants must follow studio policies, and initially meet studio techs for orientation.
