    Celebrate Our Island's Unique Environment!

    Let’s be Curious + Create!

    • Kinder + Youth  artists will, through the arts, crafts, folklore, and nature study, discover new ways of looking at the diverse cultures of the world, including the many cultural traditions right here on Nantucket!
    • Let's explore the myths of the sea (such as mermaids, selkies, and Neptune) and create our own mythological creatures.
    • As part of the creative process, kinder and youth artists will explore our island’s environment discovering natural patterns and systems.

Unfold the mysteries of the creative process!

    • Explore studio arts and crafts, and learn fascinating techniques.
    • Encourage respect, community, and individuality.
    • Thrive on curiosity and experimentation.
    • Use Nantucket's environment as a classroom and source of inspiration.
    • Create community, and generations together.

    Note:

Youth Artists Program tuitions include Generations Together and NISDA’s Annual Sand Castle Contest Registration. Join us building Sandcastles at Jetties Beach  – see NISDA Events for more details).
