This concentrated 2 day workshop will introduce a variety of hand stitchery techniques and fiber materials. Shared will be examples of a wide range of textile/fiberworks to inspire and encourage participants to create their own unique design. A simple image transfer technique utilizing a computer or scanned image will be demonstrated allowing participants to incorporate additional photographed/scanned images from their computer into their work if desired. In addition experimentation will be encouraged with use of rescued and recovered materials.
