Realizing that chronological age is only a time frame, and ideas and creativity are ageless we invite you to enroll in Artisans Workshops and Adult Studios.



TEEN ART WORKSHOP
PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT AND FRIDAY NIGHT LOCAL GALLERY
OPENINGS
This course will look to expand the young artist’s repertoire of drawing and painting techniques (pen, brush, ink, charcoal, pencil, pastels, paints) with a look at composition, perspective, color, and expression. We will look at specific college portfolio or career objectives, required preparations and work with each individual student to help them towards reaching their goals. The class will take Friday night trips to gallery openings to enjoy the experience, observe how a gallery operates (how to hang a themed show, how to frame, how the gallery system works), seeing a variety of artworks and meeting artists.
This course is recommended for those seeking a design foundation and working on a portfolio. Class workshop supplies are provided. You are welcome to bring your favorite supplies and sketchbook. Personal projects may require additional specialized supplies.



TEEN STUDENTS ARE INVITED ENROLL IN ADULT OFFERINGS AT NISDA
Teen students who wish to explore the arts, seeking to develop their skills, preparing for college admissions, or a> career as an artisan on Nantucket are welcome to enroll in Adult offering with the permission of the instructor. Enroll on Adult Application. Please attach a note of introduction about yourself.

TEEN ASSISTANTSHIPS
Teens in classes assist alongside faculty preparing, maintaining studios, supplies and an up-close opportunity to observe the process of teaching. In exchange, students receive course tuition, supplies and participation in Lecture Series and Events for themselves and their family or invited guest. To apply please fill out application and write note.
