EXPERIMENTATION + RISK TAKING
Ages 13 and up
Students will explore the history of clay as one of human’s earliest sculptural mediums. Looking at clay’s role within ancient arts, architecture, and ecology students will work to develop their own relationship with the exciting medium. Beginning with hand-building and wheel throwing techniques, students will create several glazed and fired works. Focus will be placed on experimentation, and risk-taking. All experience levels welcome.
