AN IMAGINATIVE ADVENTURE
… through exploring the ceramic process, create both functional utilitarian forms and symbolic sculptures. Discover and find inspiration from nature and your personal interests, thoughts, and experience of life. There will be class collaborative introductions of hand building, slab, coil, pinch and wheel throwing. Students will be encouraged to combine techniques to achieve their own unique and creative clay works. The techniques of scraffitto, underglaze and glaze will be discussed as well. Beginners and experienced students are welcome. Students will be able to fire and glaze several works. Tuition includes access to the studio during open studio hours and space to store your work.
