JULY THE ART OF WATER GARDENS BENEFIT TOUR Friday Afternoon, July 25, 1-5 pm To Benefit NISDA Childrens’ Scholarships and Studio Facilities Join water garden designer and builder Larry Cronin of Nantucket Water Gardens, to enjoy an informative island-wide site tour seminar. Visit water gardens, specifically designed for their natural setting. See special water features; waterfalls, contemplative spaces that integrate and enhance home and garden. See earth ponds, sculpturally formed watergardens and beautiful wetlands. Learn about the design of balanced ecosystems, koi, waterlilies, lotus and varieties of water garden and indigenous plants. Experience the pleasure of the water garden sounds, reflected light and water flow. Wear comfortable clothes, bring sunglasses and camera. Begin at NISDA’s SeaView Farm, you may ride van or caravan in your own car. At each pond site you will also learn about that particular areas place in island history, native wildlife and environment.
