WORK EXCHANGE DURING SUMMER
During NISDA’s Summer Art Session AIR applicants may apply to exchange a portion of the residency fee for a lecture/demo or a lecture and full day workshop during their residency (two week minimum).
A half day presentation/demo/mini workshopreceive a $200 discount on colony fees
Evening one hour lecture and one day workshop receive a $350 discount on colony fees
Three half-day workshop receive a $500 discount on colony fees
Submit the AIR application form, required supplemental materials, application fee, date preference and cottage size preference (only studio and one bedroom cottages are available). Along with your application please include your preference for Fellowship A, B or C and a very brief description of what you would offer.
If you are awarded a fellowship, NISDA will require the following as applicable:

- Title and description of presentation and/or demo
- Short bio
- Two high res. images (300 dpi or above) of you or your artwork, projects, book cover
- Workshop description
- Workshop supply list for students and/or supply fee with amount of what will be provided.
- List of any studio, instructional and technical requirements
